Flooding

The National Weather Service has posted a Coastal Flood Advisory for the Borough of Stone Harbor and other coastal communities in our region.  The Advisory is in effect on Wednesday, May 4th, from 6:00-11:00pm.  There is the potential for minor coastal flooding at time of high tide.  Please exercise caution while driving in the community this evening, and never drive on any street that is flooded as it puts you and your vehicle at risk, and creates an unnecessary wake for other vehicles, homes, and businesses.  Please continue to follow the forecast as similar advisories may be posted for Thursday, May 5th.  High tide will occur at the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge shortly before 7:00pm.
