Snowfall December 31 NoonThe National Weather Service is monitoring a winter storm that will likely bring rain, snow, strong winds, and the potential for coastal flooding to our region.  Weather conditions are expected to be dry through Thursday morning.  A system from our south will move up the coastline on Thursday afternoon and  bring rain to the region.  Cold air from the north will approach the Jersey Shore and it’s likely the storm will change over to snow Thursday night into early Friday morning.  Snowfall accumulations could range from two inches along the coastline to four inches inland, with higher amounts north of Philadelphia.  Please continue to monitor this website and traditional media for weather alerts over the next 48 hours.   Here is the latest weather briefing provided on Tuesday afternoon by the National Weather Service:
