The Stone Harbor Office of Emergency Management is informing the public about a winter storm that will result in rain, heavy at times, and strong gusty winds in our community on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 26th.  A coastal storm will move up the Atlantic seaboard and will bring snow to areas north and west of Philadelphia.  For Stone Harbor, we expect rain and strong gusty winds throughout the day and into Wednesday evening.  Coastal flooding is not expected to be a major concern during this storm event.  If you come across a flooded street or intersection, do not attempt to drive on it.  If you have outdoor objects around your property, including umbrellas, chairs, and trash cans, please make sure they are secure.  If you have any emergency, dial 911.
