Monday, August 12th, 12:06pm: Flash Flooding, Heavy Storms Possible Tuesday in Stone Harbor
Please continue to follow traditional media outlets over the next 24 hours for important updates to our forecast.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Stone Harbor and all of Cape May County for Wednesday, August 7th, 2019 until 9:00pm. Severe thunderstorms are possible during this time as a cold front moves through our region to break the humidity. If you see lightning or hear thunder, seek shelter immediately. Please follow all instructions provided by the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol.
The severe storms may cause street flooding in a quick period of time. Never attempt to drive on any street that is flooded as this puts you and your vehicle at risk. If you have any emergency, dial 911.
Continue to follow traditional media outlets as the Watch may be elevated to a Warning at any time.
