An approaching storm will bring clouds to our region on Sunday evening.  The storm is expected to begin as rain along the southern New Jersey coastline on Sunday night and change over to sleet and freezing rain during the overnight hours.  Sometime Monday morning the precipitation will change over to all snow.  The high temperature on Monday is forecast to be 30 degrees which will be cold enough to make it a snow event.  Winds will be out of the north at 10-15mph with gusts to 25mph during this storm.

Travel conditions are expected to worsen through the day on Monday.  Please be prepared for hazardous driving conditions throughout the day on Monday.  Conditions could be worse towards the Philadelphia/northern New Jersey areas.

Exercise extreme caution while driving on Monday.  Do not attempt to drive through heavy snow on any roadway.  Reduce your speed limits when appropriate.  Please continue to monitor this website, traditional media outlets, and our local public access television station on Comcast, Channel 97, for additional information regarding this winter storm event.
